Muslim matrimonial app Muzz is reinforcing its commitment to combatting catfishing by introducing an ID verification filter. This new feature empowers users to actively seek out members with an ID Verified status, reducing the likelihood of encountering fake or misleading accounts. ID Verified members are users who have been verified by Muzz through a passport or driver's license check, with their profiles displaying a blue badge to indicate their verification status.

This filter seamlessly integrates into the app's search settings, allowing users to easily toggle between displaying all profiles and filtering specifically for those with verified IDs. By giving users more control over their search preferences, Muzz is taking a proactive step in addressing the issue of catfishing and promoting a more secure and trustworthy environment for Muslims to find a spouse.
